The ground clearance compared to other Dacia models
In the illustrious lineup of Dacia’s no-nonsense machines, each model seems to have been assigned its own altitude. The Dacia Spring appears to be hugging mother earth with a mere 151 mm of clearance, while the Sandero impresses few marmots with its 162 mm. The current Duster, on the other hand, stands at 183 mm, looking down upon its siblings with a smug grin. However, the Duster does get outclassed by the mountain goat of the family, the Dacia Jogger, scaling great heights at 200 mm and the Sandero Stepway being on par, each presumably ready to do battle with small boulders.

How does the ground clearance of the Dacia Duster compare to it's nearest competitors?
Comparing the Duster to its peers gives us more of a mixed bag. The Toyota Proace City and the BMW X2 match the Duster’s 183 mm clearance, with a shrug, making it a rather level playing field. However, the likes of Range Rover Evoque and Lynk & Co 01 flex with 215 mm and 213 mm respectively, dwarfing the Duster’s ambitions. But before we dismiss the Duster as a low rider, let’s not forget the MG EHS, sinking to a ground-hugging 145 mm, and the MINI Countryman with an almost comedic 149 mm clearance, barely enough to clear a stack of pancakes.
