The Genesis GV60 is the first all-electric vehicle under the luxury marque and offers a generous boot space compared to its size. The current model 2022 offers 432 liters of trunk space which expands to 1550 liters when the rear seats are folded.
The Genesis GV60 is currently in its first generation, so there are no changes in trunk size over multiple generations. As Genesis produces more iterations of the GV60 in the coming years, it will be interesting to see how they continue to innovate and optimize the boot space in future models.
When it comes to the Genesis lineup of vehicles, the GV60 falls somewhere between smaller sedans like the G70 (330 liters) and spacious SUVs like theGV70 (542 liters) andGV80 (735 liters). Although the GV60 is not the most capacious in its lineup, it offers a better boot space than theG80 sedan (424 liters) and comes close to theG70 Shooting Brake (465 liters).
Compared to nearest competitors in the electric vehicle market, the Genesis GV60 offers competitive boot space. For instance, theAudi Q4 e-tron (535 liters) andHyundai IONIQ 5 (527 liters) have slightly more boot space, whereas theVolvo XC40 (419 liters) andFord Mustang Mach-E (402 liters) fall short of the GV60's 432 liters. Moreover, the GV60 has a larger trunk size than some competitors, such as theTesla Model Y (854 liters) and theAudi e-tron (660 liters), but with the rear seats folded, these models provide more cargo space with 2158 liters and 1725 liters, respectively.
